Todays experience, visiting my dad in his care home. Luckily the care home my dad is in positively encourage dogs to visit, so it was Finlays turn today. Dad was in bed, so we’d taken a puppy blanket with us so he could go on the bed with dad. Finlay was a bit over excited but handled it well, he got mega amounts of fuss from all the staff as well as dad, who really loved seeing him. It was pretty heart-warming stuff actually. We will bring Finlay here often so it was important that he performed well, which he mainly did…..just puppy exuberance.
